    Surprisingly powerful.

I bought this hoping that it would blow leaves and debris off my artificial lawn and patios' and it does not disappoint! After reading several reviews (and taking 6 months to decide if it was worth the risk) I bought (and received the next day) this Makita blower. My concerns were quickly dismissed as it has the power (on the highest setting) to move all leaves, twigs and feathers from my artificial lawn; with ease! Conditions were dry but leaves were slightly damp. On the lowest setting, it carefully blows up your leaves into little piles, ready for disposal. I also discovered that it removed all leaves/debris from my wife's flower beds, which usually is a labour intensive (back breaking!) task. The battery time (20 minutes on two 4amp batteries) may be too short for those with ...

  • Makita DUB361z

Already had the 18v blower with speed control and very pleased with it . This one only has 2 speeds, you turn it on and then when you press the button expecting a bit more blow it drops to a very low blow that is far too low to have much impact. The 18v model seems to run on a battery for ages, even on full blow this 36v one eats batteries too quickly This one feels good to handle but would be better with more speeds

  • Makita stuff is always good

This is pretty good, could do with more varying controls as it’s only high or low power and low isn’t worth using if your blowing leaves. Other than that it is sturdy and with 2 x batteries it goes for a good amount of time

  • Good value for money.

Nice and lightweight as l am74 even used it to blow behind radiators. I am a bit house proud. The long snout saves anybending down
