After contacting the seller with photo evidence of the defect, the seller didn’t offer a refund but instead asked me to “open and clean the battery, then discharge it for two days”. The seller still hasn’t responded or offered any solution – only questions such as “please take a photo of your original battery”. It has been a terrible eBay experience to say the least
