Super tripod - but beware the effort required to change the rubber feet for metal spikes!
Make no mistake: this is a very good-quality tripod, and I feel (given its relatively light weight) that I could carry it around for some time using the shoulder strap of the great bag it comes in without it becoming too tiring. There is a BUT: I struggled intently when attempting to replace the rubber feet with the provided metal spikes, as each requires to be twisted, pulled and pushed at the same time – and doing this with one hand whilst the other is holding the tripod leg tightly is not the easiest of processes. In the end, I sprayed a well-known lubricant into the feet then, with a LOT of effort, managed to free them. Vanguard really needs to find an alternative design solution. Delighted overall, though.
