    Better than an advent calendar!

    This is a lovely traditional story with little envelopes for the child to open & see what's inside. Little delights of things, a mini jigsaw, a tiny comic plus the best one at the end a 3d peep show of a Christmas scene. I have been a children's nanny for over 35 years now & have lost count of the number of copies I have bought as gifts!

    Condition not as described

    I purchased the this book as it was meant to be in very good condition. It is not. The spine is torn, the envelopes within the book is torn and some of the letters are missing. This does not equate to very good condition. Very misleading. My 5 year old was very disappointed and so I am!

    Amazing memorable children's book

    Each page brings some well known characters into the story and let's the child fetch out what has been 'Posted' from the envelope. The story is simple but lovely and the graphics are amazing too. Perfect book

    Classic children’s book, one to keep

    I have a few in the jolly postman series, great story and well illustrated and keeps hold of a child’s imagination. This one is obviously only specific to Christmas but which can be used year after year.

    Wonderful

    A lovely book for all ages. It is a book within a book, it has games, just enough for bedtime. Such a sweet story. Buy a separate dice to go with it, as there is a little roll the dice game inside. Would re-purchase. Wonderful book.
