What a great Classic Series!. This harder to find set of Series 6 which features Linda Thorson is a fine complement if you enjoyed The Emma Peel Episodes. Yes I agree someone can do Emma's role but no one can replace her but try to give credit to the ingenious nature of the show. I am American living in California and we like things that are not too plain, throw in some style and impeccable manners with crime-solving and you get the formula for the Avengers. it delivers. Imagine solving a crime without a cell phone or google map!....wow what a concept! :) By the way this Seller delivered it quickly and efficiently. I would definitely buy again. Fortunately the region 2 versus region 1 issue was not a problem on my 2008 iMac. Combined with my Emma Peel Megaset I am set and occasionally revisit episodes I have seen before. This is wayyyy! Great set of discs if you are an Avengers fan. This set includes all of the Tara King episodes. Must caution people in USA that these discs are Region 2 and will not play on DVD players sold in the US. Your computer may allow you to switch your DVD drive to Region 2 (or any other region) - but this feature can only be done a limited number of times before your drive is locked in to one region or another. There is free SW available to convert content to Region Free - but newer Blue Ray players may still prevent you from viewing content. Older DVD machines can play region free discs. Caveat Emptor.

For me it is the best series of the lot - and notwithstanding that it was produced for American tastes it still shows 'Britishness' at it's finest!! Patrick Macnee's timing is impeccable and for me Linda Thorson was the prettiest Avenders girl of the lot. I can escape to a time of my childhood when I didn't have to worry about PC issues in my TV viewing. Marvelous!
