mixed results
The 'Comedy Now' half of the DVD is full of pure genius! It's a great example of why Russell Peters has shot to fame! His quick wit accompanied with his religious and race observations are a nice original way of approaching comedy. His delivery is great as are his accents and expressions! The other half of the DVD isn't so good, with a crowd that doesn't respond well to his performance, which isn't his best by a mile! One annoying thing about the entire DVD, as highlighted by another reviewer, is the annoyng skips that appear during the DVD. At first, I thought these shows were lifted straight from a TV broadcast and would indicate ad breaks, however, they're actually there to cover up chunks of the performance which have been edited out... which is a shame, because the 'Comedy Now' is ... I bought this bc Outsourced was hilarious. This performance is not 1/2 as funny as his outsourced. I wouldn't spend my money on it
