    These are great replacement shells. If you use your existing key blade you will have to file about 1mm to 1.5mm off the blade where it fits in to the new blade carrier, really easy you can see when you have it right as the split pin you removed you will see the cut out line up. to tighten the spring fit smaller side of the shell on to spring and rotate 360 degree before clicking together this tensions the spring. really easy to swap over the internals and the blade and tension, a bargain price..

    Vauxhall Astra H

    Really easy to swap internals from old key fob to new one. You may have to shop around to get blade cut not many places will take the chance, would rather charge you a lot more to buy one of their own. All in all this is a good bit of kit.

    Poor product

    This product is not the same as the original. It is slightly different and the key will not lock in the closed position hence the key is always open. Good service by eBay but not a good product.

    Vauxhall insignia key fob replacement.

    Bought to replace original insignia key with outer case buttons cracked . Viewed video on YouTube & fairly easy to swap the original internals + the cut key. Good value. You will need a small punch to remove & swap the old key as well as a new Pin.

    Good but could come with better guidance

    All the parts are well made, but they are not identical to an original key. I wanted to swap the key shaft, but the old one was too long to slide into the new part, a bit of filing the shaft sorted this but should not have been necessary. I had to do my own research via youtube for 'How To' videos on cracking open the old key, and tensioning the spring in the new key shell. You need pliers, vice, file, a small hammer and very small nail (to remove locking pin).

    Good quality replacement at a competitive price

    At a competitive price point it was a good replacement. Only drawback was due to the near match - not exactly like original so it would not take original key for to be used. I had to get the blank supplied cut at extra cost, Also logo was Opel not Vauxhall as suggested.
