    Confused me at first. When I plugged it into my laptop it presented as a CD drive! - However, you then run the program that is on the virtual "CD" and it installs the proper drivers. - THe CD disappears and a LAN port appears under your network adapters. It seems decent quality and represents marvellous value for the price. - Just don't be confused by it pretending to be a CD drive!

    Royal Mail does it again ! Tracking Item ?- Says "Not Yet Posted" ! No help what so ever , states nothing just left blank. Item arrived days late, not a problem for me on this occasion, some could claim "Not Received" to seek refund ! BAD ! Someone is not entering tracking information in the tracking system. Have experienced same problem as a private seller on ebay. Item as described, working on Vintage Linux O/S have to plug into usb after Linux system finish loading. Good seller Thanks..

    Excelklent adapter at a great price

    The usb2-RJ45 ethernet adapters have been working without any problems on my Linux Mint 21.2 laptop and also on a Raspberry Pi. Win 10 is a little bit trickier. When first plugged in the dongle appears as a "CD ROM" drive containing an SS9900.exe file. You need to run this so that Win 10 has drivers for the dongle. The pseudo CD ROM then disappears and the adapter works!

    Works but very poor quality item

    The product did work but the cable sheath split at both ends within a few days. This is a very poor quality item. However, it did allow me to decide that I needed one so I felt justified in buying a more expensive replacement!

    excellent find

    The product is exactly what i needed and can no longer buy locally since shops now only sell non-connection kit. I prefer to use plug-in, not wireless. Was very glad to find this item available for sale on eBay.

    USB to Ethernet adapter

    Works really well. Cheap looking but effective. Initial confusion as registered as CD device. Once uploaded was easy to use. Would certainly recommend.
