Just what I needed to be able to use some old 2.5" and 3.5" IDE hard disks as backup storage with a more modern laptop/PC. Thesae old hard disks require the addition of an external power supply (+5 volts and +12 volts) which I already have. T^he addition of a SATA connector on the converter is a bonus! Good price and fast delivery.

I bought this to access a hard drive from an old desktop computer. Arrived quickly and worked perfectly allowing me to access files from an 3.5" SATA hard drive (note: I used the power supply from the old desktop. I believe the 3.5" hard drives require more power than can be drawn from USB alone). Fast transfer rate and no issues. Recommend this if required for a similar purpose.
