Be aware that there are slight differences in the adapter card that might be supplied (I received the red version) and you may need a power supply adapter - depends on the wiring in your computer. To date, I haven't been able to read my ATA HDD with this adapter. The red LED comes on and HDD spins up, but it is not recognized by the BIOS. Other users have reported variable success – it may or may not work for your system but worth trying at £6.
