This comprehensive book covers the problems faced by the eight countries involved in the war, Greta Britain, the British Commonwealth, the United States, Germany, Italy, France, the Soviet Union and Japan, and the many and diverse vehicles which were developed, from 1/4-ton jeeps, half-tracks and amphibians, to tank transporters with a gross weight of 92 tons.
