    A "must have for LOTR fans.

    This movie is extremely entertaining. If you're a Lord of the Rings fan then you need to get this. Lots of information on the making of the movie and the characters and peoples of Middle Earth. In depth explanations on how this movie ties in with the Lord of the Rings series. I enjoyed every minute of all five DVDs in the set.

    The hobbit done right

    Ever since I was Young, I have always loved all of Tolkiens work. And the movie at the patients that were made by Peter Jackson are a great addition to that incredible story. Although he had a lot less material to work with for The Hobbit. And even though they added a lot of their own personal storylines. he still made a masterpiece.

    Very nice - some small scratches

    Seems to be in very good condition except for a couple scratches on one disk - have not played it yet - hopefully does not affect playback. Otherwise very satisfied.
