Odd thing is that upower function on Ubuntu said the old battery had 28Wh capacity. That lasted 40 mins. The new battery is advertised as 38Wh but upower says it has 32Wh which is not hugely different from the old one , but it works far better. I suppose there was something wrong with the old battery that does not get listed by upower.
