    My Crest Songs

    If you liked any of the Crest's song... get this. As the sub-title says... It has all their hits plus songs from the Brooklyn Bridge... "The Worst That Could Happen" These songs are still great today.. Saw these guys at Turning Stone Casino (central NY) recently.. If they come near you YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THEM.

    Great collection for fans of Doo Wop and late 60's pop

    Johnny Maestro was one of the great lead singers of the 50's and 60's. This album, consisting of original recordings, showcases some of his biggest hits from his work with the Crests (16 Candles), as a solo artist (What a Surprise) and with the Brooklyn Bridge (Worst that Could Happen). My only complaint is that I think 2 of the 3 songs from his solo career are awful; I skip over them when playing the CD. But otherwise this album has terrific tracks if you're a fan of Doo Wop and the light rock of the late 60's, including Tha Angels Listened In, Trouble in Paradise, Blessed is the Rain, You'll Never Walk Alone, and My Juanita done acapella.
