Perfect tool
The trowel blade cuts down into a root mass easily with little disturbance to other plants. The forked tip is great for flicking out small tufts of grass whilst the entire tool can be left out in the garden in the wet without deteriorating. Even the red shows up amongst plants if lost

OK for some jobs but...
I wanted to tidy up amongst other plants in a very full border so bought this for it’s long narrow blade. The trowel went into the soil ok but as soon as I put any pressure on it to lift the unwanted bulbs the blade started to bend.. This border is a clay soil which soon dries up on the surface making a crust so I had to resort to pushing the blade down around the bulb to loosen it but went back to my usual trusty trowel to do the heavy work of actual lifting. But it wasn’t over expensive and will no doubt be ok for lighter soils in a different part of the garden.I wanted to tidy up amongst other plants in a very full border so bought this for it’s long narrow blade. I was really excited when the tool arrived as I thought it would be the perfect trowel to dig up the dandelions in my lawn! Unfortunately when I first used it the trowel hit something hard & the tip got bent!. I straightened it, but it happened several times, obviously there is a weakness in the metal. A disappointing purchase!
