The box shows overall wear with considerable wear and damage being in the “shoulder” area extending up to the top edge where there are two breaks at the points where two of the sides meet. The piece in between those breaks is quite fragile and could come loose easily. There are surface and edge scuffs and old attempts at glue and tape repairs at the top. The box bottom is held to the sides with old paper tape that appears to be original to the construction of the box. However, another possible explanation for the tape is that it is an old repair.”
