      Cheap and defective

      I should have known that the overflow plate would be made of hard plastic instead of metal which means it may wear out much faster from using the plunger lever. The nickel finish of the overflow plate had a noticeable defect looking like a small area like rust about to come through (a glaring speck of scratched or uplifting nickel). For this reason I am thinking about returning it. Also the drain shoe is very thin metal unlike the original but I could overlook that. The imperfect finish is what bothers me as I bought this thing hoping to bring some improvement to the tub's looks. I expected it to be blemish free.
