    Sharp lyrics from a feisty rapper

    Like most rap artists, Princess Nokia raps about her experiences. The lyrics are sharp and articulate, delving into her past, difficult childhood and family roots. Her sound is fresh and distinctive and she uses words to demonstrate her power as a woman. Some of her lyrics might seem oddly sexist for a self-confessed feminist, but this is part of her power. She takes ownership and plays around with expectations of her gender, showing us all that we can express ourselves how we want to. I loved this album and look forward to seeing how Princess Nokia continues to develop as an artist. NB. EXPLICIT LYRICS - NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OR THOSE EASILY OFFENDED!
