Excellent but....
Generally it is a very good bit of kit and screen resolution is best in class. Could do with a few more ports for usb/cards as only has one usb port and one micro sd card slot, Ii have extended this though using a little hub. Battery life is ok depends what your doing on it as to how long it last but thats with any device. Little concerned about how long the connection between the tablet part and the keyboard will last as its essential magnetised and requires pulling apart each time. May be stronger than it looks but it will wear out at some point or stop connecting, same applies to the power socket as this is a unique design so its not just like replacing a usb charging cable, this is a magnetised connector not found on any other devices. Good but still a prototype
The surface pro 4 is great for mobile computing, the touchscreen paired with the keyboard and mousepad really work towards great user interface and an easy to use experience. However the touchscreen can be glitchy along with the mouse and keyboard. The portability paired with the computing power is really useful and it will run 64x programs with no issues along with older games (like gmod, minecraft etc). Good product but definitely not the finished idea. The surface pro 4 is great for mobile computing, the touchscreen paired with the keyboard and mousepad really work towards great user interface and an easy to use experience. Much better than iPad Pro
I have now used both the iPad Pro 12.9" and now the Surface Pro. Don't get me wrong the iPad is the best tablet in my opinion, but if it's a touch screen device to replace your laptop, the Surface Pro is that device. I believe this because you can run desktop class software instead of the mobile versions you get on the iPad. The Surface Pro has very good multi-tasking capabilities and comes with a display port and a usb port.I have now used both the iPad Pro 12.9" and now the Surface Pro. Don't get me wrong the iPad is the best tablet in my opinion, but if it's a touch screen device to replace your laptop, the Surface Pro is that device. I believe this because you can run desktop class software instead of the mobile versions you get on the iPad. An excellent deal for the budding artist!
I use this for general web browsing and drawing. It's an excellent device with a brilliant screen, great battery life and awesome speakers! The keyboard is very nice to use and is excellent quality and the Surface Pen is also amazing.
