Although this camera came out in 2016 it is still excellent quality (24 MP) and utilises DIGIC 6 processing technology. It also boasts the 45 point, dual pixel, autofocus system. In addition it has a weather sealed body and can attain 7 fps for the sports oriented photographers. If you want video then this camera can go to 1080/60 video capture rate. I upgraded from a 70D (20.2 MP) and the battery grip (BG-E 14) for that also fits this camera. So no added expense there. The 90D may appear this year but that only promises a 65 point AF system with improved DIGIC processing but the cost will be high. So why wait if you are upgrading. Newcomers may find cheaper Canon alternatives. I have many Canon lenses, EF and EF-S, so this fits nicely into my "armoury". Highly recommended.

The camera is in really good condition for a pre-owned item. It seems it's previous owner took really good care of it. I haven't used all of the 80D's wealth of features yet but I'm getting there. It's a robust camera and is a real step-up from my aging EOS 400D. The 80D got a generally good review on it's launch and this one just confirms what I've read about the camera. From what I've seen of the camera in action it'll be another while before I need to upgrade.

The Canon 80d is a flexible, affordable camera that offers both the amateur and professional photographer, a high quality still and hd video camera. It's touchscreen menu, allows you to navigate between default functions and creative zones giving you the option to either use the pre set program, or use it as a fully manual camera. Images are crisp and clear, noise control at higher iso values allows for low light photography. I particularly like its sensitive auto focus modes allowing for some impressive action shots, as well as stills.

I have been after a Canon EOS 80D for ages as I have a Canon EOS 60 D but wanted something more up to date and the 80D is just what I wanted. In terms of performance, clarity and ease of use the 80D is top notch, no wonder it’s such a popular camera but it may be a bit OTT for beginners unless they are prepared to work at it. Great camera, highly recommended.

I've downsized from an EOS 5D Mk iii to an 80D due to the weight of my full frame kit. The 80D is a joy to use and the image quality is excellent. I don't feel that I have lost anything in quality just a weight off my shoulders!
