Good Quality Feel To The Kit
I was really surprised at how good the feel and grips are on these tools, there is rubber in all the right places so should reduce the risk of a slippage if pushing hard. Everything works as it should and sounds good and sturdy, one of my battery's would not charge when they arrived, but a quick phone call and the day after a replacement had arrived If i was to have one niggle it would be that the bag/holdall could be a little bigger as its a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to get everything inI was really surprised at how good the feel and grips are on these tools, there is rubber in all the right places so should reduce the risk of a slippage if pushing hard. Great Kit of the money
Great kit for the money. All of the cordless tools required to get the job done. Quality is very good (drill case could be better), tool bag is really good and fits all the tools inside. Haven’t used the tools in anger but having other tools from Lumberjack I don’t have any concerns. The big names tools like Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee do feel better quality but they also have 3-4 times the prices to match. As a general DIY’er (ex sparky by trade) I don’t think you can go wrong for the money. I have Lumberjacks Cordless Staple/Nail gun, table saw, band saw, router table and planner all of which has been great with no issues. I’m not sure how these would fair with day in day out use by a tradesman as they have only been released. If you’re a DIY’er or tradesman that doesn’t use power tools ... Great kit for the money. You certainly get a lot of kit for the money, however it does feel somewhat lightweight against it's known brand competitor's. The proof of course is in the performance. So far I've used the angle grinder with a cutting disc on mild steel (cutting an old exhaust from a car) and the circular saw on timber. Pretty poor on both counts. Both motors struggled and locked up with only the lightest of pressure. The suction power of the vac is also poor. Probably average kit for very occasional diy'ers, certainly not up to trade usage on my experience so far.You certainly get a lot of kit for the money, however it does feel somewhat lightweight against it's known brand competitor's. Unbeatable value
