Good basic laser covers most DIY requirements.
It is easy to set up and has a very bright laser and good range. The laser light spreads wide and with careful positioning can continue around corners without needing to move the unit. The only minor shortcoming is the lack of a laser pendulum lock for transport.

Useless in sunlight, if ye want to use it outside, don't bother
My old laser level died on me so off I went and bought a DeWalt one thinking it would be the biz. Certainly seemed to be when I opened the box and set it up in the kitchen. The wheels fell off the bus when I took it outside. Very difficult to see over 5m and in bright sunlight, virtually impossible. Even at 8pm in the evening with cloud cover it was still almost impossible to see at 13m. Yes I could use if there was nothing else, but got on faster with my old 2m level and a piece of clear hose for longer distances. Back in box and being returned. Dewalt laser level
Good quality with good range not sure about the 10 meters though. Could do with a simple level lock to lock the gimble in position when not used. Being mobile could damage other parts when being rattles around in the vehicles. Have heard a lot of good things regards these units and their accuracy over shorter distances.

Excellent laser level, Good size to keep it in tool box, plenty bright enough for inside work, not tried it outside in sun light, The reason only 4 star I feel it should had some kind of lock on the laser and protective cover on the lens. I know comes with a case but Too big better without it.
