Was advertised as new, however there seems to be an issue with the cables that came with it. The USB cable has obviously been tampered with as there is insulation tape wrapped around it, so my guess is that it is not new at all. I bought the same drive from someone else and everything was as it should have been but with this item form this seller this was not the case

Item arrived well packed and on time. Unfortunately the instructions were missing and the adaptor plug damaged (neither of these being something the seller would have known). Messaged the seller and promptly they emailed a copy of the instructions and resolved the broken adaptor.
Have used the station to clone original 500GB hard drive on to a new SSD. Computer is back together and performance (response speed) is 1000% improved. Excellent customer service - would deal again.
