Great battery charger that benefits from a little extra air extraction when testing/charging multiple cells at once.
Great battery charger that offers a decent range of test modes. Should be fine with most commonly used battery types but not D cell NiMH which are too long. For prolonged use I'd recommend rigging up a small laptop fan to a 5 volt supply to pull air out of the casing on the underside, as the onboard fan is quite small and not up to the job of keep the unit cool for several hours when discharging multiple batteries at once. I have two of these now so will make a small wood box platform that they rest on with cut outs for two small fans underneath to help the air extraction from inside the unit during prolonged use with multiple batteries installed.The unit has good ventialtion slots on the casing so it's an easy thing to do and will save the little fan inside from switching on and off ... Buy one of each and use this one when you need to test batteries. Also check out Mr Baz reviews on youtube who inspired me to try one. Fab little battery charger / tester.

Received this charger to test salvaged 18650 cells from old Laptop Battery packs. Had It around a week or so, and so far has come up to, or exceeded my expectations in ease of operation and performance. I have checked the display readings using certified meters and found them consistently very close. I like the idea of having the 4 slots to allow individual parameters to be set for different sizes and chemistry of each cell at the same time, variable charge & discharge rates as well as refresh (3 discharge & charge cycles), cell resistance and more. The fan is a little small but seems to keep the temperature under control with sensors just under the Positive end of each the cells. All in all I was happy enough to buy a second unit. soon after ! It may not be judged as up to professional ... Received this charger to test salvaged 18650 cells from old Laptop Battery packs. After having looked about for good quality battery chargers with lots of extra features, I decided to buy this one. It does a great job. Let’s you know how many milliamperes your batteries actually have. It’s pretty accurate too. Great all round value for money if you want something a bit more than a simple charger.

Does the job well
Does exactly what it should and does it well. You can adjust the charging/discharging current, monitor the progress, test the cells for capacity and internal resistance. Each charger slot can be set up separately. Temperature regulation performed via integrated fan. Trusty charger, well recommended!

Great Piece Of Usable Kit
Apart from charging batteries it also does a comprehensive test on them. It is also very easy to use. If you find difficulty using it (which is unlikely); there are a lot of instructional videos on the internet showing how to use it.
