It's very firm, not as soft as the SMC gel saddle. SMC gel is more expensive but probably worth it. The most comfortable saddle I have on a bike is the nukeproof horizon enduro. Shame that they don't seem to make these anymore.

Got this new saddle, followed the setup instructions and after a short break in ride and a few adjustments it felt very good. Not only don't feel pressure anymore on my lower areas (was a big problem on my charge spoon) but also feel my pelvis nicely cradled in a good position with no pressure points. This saddle changed completely my position on the bike for better.

I have a serious Ebay habit. I have been to their depot many times. The item is great, the new smaller release catch less so. Buy Topeak.
