Compact & prints both sides, very impressive.
This is my first Canon printer & am so far very impressed. It's very small & compact that fits on the end of my small shelf. Can fit in the tightest of spaces. The best thing I love is that you can load 100 sheets of paper in the drawer where it is kept free from dust & I can print anytime without having to load paper first. It can also print on both sides of the paper which is a great paper saver. Has a very large touch screen which makes it easy to use, you can also operate it via a PC. Can also easily print from my mobile phone. The scanner is a lot lot quicker than what I am used to, as well as the print speed & quality. I don't think that the cost of cartridges is expensive because they are the same price as my old Epson, in fact they can be slightly cheaper. Tje best I could find for my requirements.
Needed a printer that will print on DVDs, this is about the only new one which will - it replaces an expired MG7700. This does the job but is much flimsier and seem slower to print. Bought the white TS8351, the black TS8350 is never in stock and the colour does not bother me. We will see how long this one lasts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I've switched from Epson to Canon...
Easy set up and connect to the network. It has lots of options for printing and scanning, more than I'll ever need! Cartridges are easy to changed, everything is explained on the touch screen and you are walked through the steps. I like that there are options for printing on paper, CD, envelops, or card stock. I don't need them at the moment but it's good to know they are there. Power saving feature means you are saving energy...it powers up when you go to print, and you choose how long it idles before powering down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Generally happy - it is easy to operate but a few minor niggles. It is annoying that the front pivoting panel doesn't 'close' automatically when printer is turned off. 'Foot print' is larger than stated as the paper tray protrudes to the front. A little noisier than expected. Silver strips on front make it look tacky.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic bit of kit
Delighted with this purchase. It’s small and neat but packs a punch. Great quality printing no matter the card stock I’m using. Wonderful printer
Only had a couple of days, but so far it's great. It's better than my old Canon printer, which I got in 2012, it seems better quality, it is smaller and lighter, so doesn't take up quite as much room, and is easy to move when needed. Great product despite price
I like Canon products and this is the 4th Canon printer I have had. The inks are reasonably priced. It was nice to receive a full set of inks with the printer. I had to search for a long time on the internet and most stores were out of stock. The printer was advised as best buy in Computer Active magazine.
