    Must-have for Springsteen fans

    This is a must-have for Springsteen fans. So far, I've only listened to the single-disc version of "The River" as well as the disc of outtakes. Even if you already have the box set "Tracks", there will are some 20 songs that didn't previously appear there on this box set. The book of photos was nice to thumb through, and looking forward to watching the two Blu Rays (one documentary, one concert).

    Experience the River tour

    This set never seemed like much because two discs are just the River album, but the documentary is interesting and enlightening and the live concert from Arizona is incredible, worth the price, probably, on it’s own. Also, a disc of outtakes I haven’t gotten to and a nice picture book.

    Epic Darkness

    Great stuff from Springsteen's most epic achievement, when the American Dream turns dark. Plenty of interesting extras including a disc of rarities that could have been a strong album on their own, and the concert performances are moving and powerful.

    Must have for Springsteen fans

    I have owned The River since it was released in 1980 and this expanded version is a vast improvement on a classic album, the bonus material is great and the concert video on the blu ray is excellent.
