Conceived in the 1950s, the Triumph Bonneville has stood the test of time, and still looks and performs like one of the best motorcycles on the road. The machines were built to last, and many of the earlier models can still be seen purring across the globe in all their finery. Part of the appeal was the sleek--some would say sexy--look of the machine, which ended up being mass produced when American riders took the Bonneville to their hearts. Triumph were still producing the motorcycles some 40 years after the first model was produced, and the success story doesn't look set to run out of gas anytime soon. THE STORY OF THE TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE puts a number of different models on screen, with the earliest dating back to 1959. For viewers enthralled by the smell of gasoline, the scent of burning rubber on tarmac, and the thrill of the open road, the Triumph Boneville is an enduring, and reliable, legend.
