The item is as advertised. It is plastic but looks pretty good.
I am unsure why it is hollow and not a complete piece of plastic. I hope they will rectify this...as it makes taping it down on the side without a solid piece (but toothed plastic pieces) more difficult.
So far, it is holding, but I think it will require a more permanent fix.
Leaving weights on the edges overnight to get it to stick.
