Excellent communication and kept completely up to date from the placing of the order to its delivery. Delivered a day early. Well packaged and completely secure. Vax machine looks like new. Spotlessly clean and working straight out of the box. Can only find one minor indication that it’s a refurbished machine. Good suction especially when compared with the older Dyson it replaces. It’s early days yet but if it gives good service over time it will certainly be worth the investment.

Refurbished, but done to a standard
The major components of the vax were clearly replaced and new such as the filters, cleaning heads and pipes. The flex was scuffed and there are clearly some signs of wear on the outer casing but these in no way detract from the efficient working of the machine. Great suction and easy to handle. The steering is a real bonus. Clearly a refurbished machine but done to a high standard. The vax was delivered promptly, well packaged, and thoroughly cleaned. At first glance it looks virtually brand new. Excellent value for money and it’s backed up by a year’s warranty. good on flat surface but useless on thick carpet.
This Vax upright hoover works fine on wood floors and i expect also on exceptionally thin carpets, but it will not work on my medium pile Wilton carpet as it it far too powerful and brush will not rotate. I also found it difficult finding my way around how to use it and empty it due to lack of instruction. Due to lack of instructions its possible i am not using it correctly and there could be a way to reduce the power when using it on my thick carpet. Best ever Vacume
This is just fantastic I am a man who normally is quite happy to lift my feet up whilst my wife vacumes underneath (quite happier with a drill or hammer in my hand ) but I unpacked this little beauty and wanted first go Even though the room had been vacumed an hour earlier it was unbelievable the amount of dog hairs it collected .The ease of steering the beast across the room and round the furniture was impressive . Being able to disembody the vac from it's main frame to enable easy stair or car cleaning is a massive bonus .The long length of the cable means less time having to plug and unplug the vac. My wife having prised it out of my hands and hoovering the bedroom admitted it was one of my few good ideas to purchase this vacume .What makes it even better is the price we paid being " ... Fantastic cleaner
Bought this to replace a Vax cylinder cleaner which does a good job but was amazed that this one was full going over the same carpets that I cleaned with the old one yesterday. The steerable feature makes it easy to get into corners and the head is slim so it goes under my furniture.

Airlift experience
Previously and still own a very heavy but powerful American Hoover. That will suck up the floor given half a chance . I bought this airlift Hoover because of it's good reviews and is reasonably light for our stairs etc... since using it I have found it to be very powerful with great suction and also reasonably quiet. I find it that it is also very versatile and would surely recommend this hoover as far better than some of the famous brands out there.Previously and still own a very heavy but powerful American Hoover.
