Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Paint Mixers & Shakers
I've been wanting something like this for years--after seeing a gallon-sized paint shaker in a Home Depot several years ago. I never thought this was possible. So I finally did a search and found this. I've been using it for a while now, and it works well. I bought the AC powered one, because I'd read that the battery-powered one did work as well. The AC-powered one is great. I haven't had it for that long, so I can't attest to its long-term durability. However, for now, its wonderful!!!

I bought this shaker to mix some testors oil paints that had sat a long time but weren't dried out. It doesn't do that. I also use it on my 2 ounce acrylic hobby paints. As you know, they tend to glop together after a while. It doesn't cure that problem.

I'm using this to shake P3, Reaper, Citadel, Vallejo and even Ral Partha paints. It has done an incredibly good job at mixing the paints and restoring some of my colors that I thought might be trash. I use it in 20 second shakes and have done about 180 bottles so far with no issues. I do have stainless steel ball bearings in each bottle. I question the longevity of the device but it seems to be working out great so far.

No problems with the modeling paints that I use. Vallejo, Model Master, Testors, AK. Somewhat noisy but tolerable.

Anyone who paints models has been collecting paints as needed. We don't want to throw them away and every time we use one of the old ones they seem to clump up on us. Then we spend time trying to thin them and well we might have been better off just ordering a new bottle of paint. Well this this Robart Manufacturing Paint Shaker, you can properly mix your paints. Every once in awhile when you have a really separated paint you may have to use a toothpick to get the thick stuff off the bottom of the bottle then use the shaker for incredible results. This is a must for thinning your paint for airbrush use. You can very effectively mix a thinner with your favorite color to use with an airbrush, for more consistent paint thinning. Lastly, the price they are asking for the Paint Shaker is well worth it. The results you will get painting your models, after mixing your paints the right way, will make you smile. That makes the price you paid, nearly priceless with free shipping!Read full review
