Die hier vorgelegten 28 Urkunden gehoren zu einer Gruppe, die, in Theadelphia (Harit) in der Nordostecke des Fayums von Fellachin gefunden, in das Agyptische Museum zu Kairo gebracht und dort am 26. Juni 1927 unter der vorlaufigen Nummer 26. 6. 27 fl ff. registriert worden ist. Diese Papyri haben spater die Nummer 3049 des Special Register bekommen mit Ausnahme einer Urkunde (Nr. 13), die sich in einer anderen Gruppe von Papyri gefunden hat; letztere tragt die Inventarnummer Special Register 37321. Arbeitsgruppen des Inter nationalen Photographischen Archivs der Internationalen Papyrologen vereinigung haben im Frtihjahr 1973 die Papyri SR 3049, im Frtihjahr 1976 die Papyri SR 3732 konserviert und photographiert. Es stellte sich heraus, daB eine Anzahl dieser Papyri das Familienarchiv des Bauern Soterichos bildete: Pachtvertdige auf Wein-, Palmengarten-und Acker land sowie auf die Halfte eines Hauses, ein Kaufvertrag tiber einen Eselteil, ein Brief von einem Metropolis-Wachter, ferner Quittungen tiber Weizen-und Pachtzahlungen, sowie Rtickzahlungen von Darlehen. Aus dem gleichen Archiv stammt die Quittung einer Darlehensrtick zahlung Nr. 25, die als P. Warren 9 (SB V 7664 = Melanges Masp. II S. 12f. ) bereits bekannt war. Die Zugehorigkeit von Nr. 18-21 und Nr. 27 sind zweifelhaft (s. Einf. S. 17 und Anm. 2).
