The lens is in fully working order and very good condition. It fits easily and locks tightly, the focus and aperture controls work smoothly with no play, and the lens hood doesn't slip. The diaphragm stops down smartly with no signs of oil, and aperture settings click positively into position. The glass is very clean with no scratches, fungus or other problems, but just some specks of dust and other tiny marks as usual, which won't affect the pictures at all. Cosmetically it has a clean finish and bright paintwork, with only the usual evidence that it's been used including some minor surface scratches and marks here and there. Some of the more obvious paint scrapes on the rear mount have been painted black to prevent reflections. Pictures in this listing show the actual lens offered for sale. The Hoya case, rear cap and generic front cap are in good used condition and fit well. No dents or dings, the filter thread is undamaged, and overall it's in nice shape.”
