Great story about two artists - Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe. Amazing to hear about all of their going ons in their early years as they were struggling to find themselves. Interesting and I guess honest story of their maturation into the artists they became. I was also in awe of all of the people that they interacted with during the late 1960s and 1970s as they were staying at the Chelsea Hotel. I recommend this story read by the author. Not a dramatic reading, but an honest one.
