Vintage re-issue better than nothing
I had not watched this film since the cinema release in the 1970's and recently acquired both a VHS and DVD copy. Unfortunately whilst the film itself appears to be uncut from the theatre release version the picture and sound quality of the surviving print used for both VHS and DVD versions in not the best. The film does have some interesting and redeeming sections although the storyline and production has not stood the test of time in the way that other films of the era have. A collectors item which is better than nothing and in fairness probably the best (and only)print available.
