Item arrived today, well packaged and in perfect condition. Seller had it advertised as "very good" but I would say it's "like new". I've been looking for a new or preowned US copy of this item for a long time. The black dvd cases are so much better than the usual PAL cases used by UK or Australian releases, because you can get the dvds out without cracking them. Bargain of a price. Will definitely use this seller again if the appropriate items are available. 5 star service.

    Great series

    Comprehensive set of all the episodes. Classic, rarely screened, comedy about several neighbours: Martin is obsessed with organising community events, and worries over every detail. Paul is laid back, but his end redults always outshine Martin's. Howard and Hilda are more than a little eccentric, and Martin's wife, Anne is long-suffering and loyal despite tongue-in-cheek advances from Paul.

    ever decreasing circles

    What a lovely collection this set is.From the first DVD to the last it is so funny. We met Richard Briers at the NEC in Birmingham and had a long chat to him about this series and he said it was his faverite show. He is the most perfect gentleman to meet. I admited to him I am a Martin and wished I was a paul.........watch the series and you know what I mean.!! Yes, as Richard will tell you "there is a little of Martin Bryce in us all" and he admits Martin is a terrible man. Go on, buy the complete set, sit back,enjoy. Richard and the cast are great.

    Buy it if you can

    This a very difficult series to get hold of. Classic British humour. Great performances from the 5 leads with terrific one-liners and subtle, clean humour. It's a real joy to watch Martin live life "his way" and to see how he bounces off his new neighbour Paul. Great fun If you like series such as "The Good Life" and "To the Manor Born", you'll really appreciate this one.
