Arruved ahead of schedule and very handily without the thermal pads fitted to the cooler . So It is possible to fit them to their respective ICS. Still got the fan plug not fitting its socket problem though.

This item, Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler, comes with 3 cooler pads but no instruction as to which chips they need to be fitted to. After much work on-line i decided where to put my pads but i am not sure this is correct or best.
I do not think this is a problem with this supplier, i think this part is not provided with fitting instructions which is very poor. It would not be hard to include a slip of paper showing where to fit the pads.
