Item as described, good price, well packaged, arrived slightly later than hoped (not in time for Christmas ) but the order was placed in a very busy shipping period. No issue with the seller’s speed of response and sending the item. Great seller!

The seller is one of the best there is - high quality books, reasonable prices, securely packaged. I do, however, recommend some changes to their shipping - they show a shipper (SortHub) on eBay, but the tracking # they email is for a different carrier. It’s difficult to know where my purchase is. This time, it was delivered a week late. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal. But it shouldn’t be this difficult to accurately track my purchase.

  • Title says it all

Great book for rebuilding a VW air cooled engine, it doesn't assume you have a lot of skills or experience. Lots of cross reference to other parts that may be able to work with other engines, so it save time in doing research when you need parts.

  • Great instructions but images need improvement

I bought this product because an old timer recommended it to build my first motor and found it to be quite informative as well as some good suggestions to save money. What I didn't like about this product is that the photos are old and not very clear. The images should be larger and with greater resolution. The Hot VWs Fall 1997 issue had better images and easy to read description. So this editorial publishing company should revise the photos so the images are clearer and crisper.

  • thank
