    A good movie about a little known piece of history of WWII

    I bought this movie because I am interested in war history and had not heard about this one. It was a good movie if you are interested in this sort of thing. Perhaps a bit boring if you are not.

    Burton in true war story

    War drama, based on the true story of a German reprisal against Italian partisans in which 10 Italian civilians were shot for every German soldier they killed. Poignantly, the film lists by name, age and job, all the victims. Sadly, it's a bit like wading through cold porridge and Richard Burton is not at his best as a Nazi.
