Learn to trade from the master of all traders - Jesse Livermore.
If you trade shares, or commodities this is a really good book, despite the author operated in the 30's, and was very successful - On one day alone he made $6 million. The emphasis is on cash management, how to cut losing trades with minimal losses is probably the most important message of the book. Being out of the market when things are uncertain, and being able to spot changes in trends from the tape - or volume, as we now know it are good lessons too.
