    Works fine but lots of false triggering's.

    I already own a Hive outdoor security camera and it works well. However it has it's limitations. the sound is poor, the camera is triggered by my neighbours alloy wheels and also by a coping stone on the wall of my front garden. So a rather a lot of false recordings every day. Masking the fields is very difficult as well. But better than nothing.

    Good camera

    Got this to set up at front of house where the cars are parked. Easy to install and picture quality is very good both day and night.If you set it up to detect motion it does pick up everything so I set mine to people and works well without 300 notifications. Also set the area you want to get notified for and you only get notified when movement from a person is detected. With instant notifications to watch back on mobile or tablet or just watch live.

    Waste of money

    Rubbish picture quality and detection just not fit for purpose. Set to people, it mostly detects during daylight but at night nothing. Hive suggests using all motion, then it just detects rain, wind, insects, everything with alerts every few seconds! Hive then suggests reducing the alert period by setting alert schedule, great answer! So because the product is that bad it detects either nothing or everything, they basically want you to turn notifications off, may as well not have the camera! Detection zones don't work, when it decides to detects something, it detects all not just zones Finally wifi signal rubbish. I have indoor and outdoor cameras all give 1 or 2 bar signal, yet bulbs and timer plugs further away give full 4 bar. Waste of money, not fit for purpose.

    Terrible for an outdoor camera.

    Requires mounting hidden away from elements and even then it triggers off of rain, insects, or anything else remotely annoying and my guess would be if I had my camera pointing at an open area like a path, driveway, garden, etc. then it really is not up to scratch. I suppose it would work in an outdoor garage but other than that go have a look at the competition.
