Excellent Noel Coward play
The transfer is very good and the film is excellent entertainment but then what's not to like in this superb Noel Coward comedy. The only disappointing thing (to me and this is entirely personal) is that it was reframed for a widescreen format instead of the original 4:3 format. I screened this film on its original release and prefer these films in their original format. Superb old time, honest family comedy
A Charming light hearted piece of comedy family viewing. Rex Harrison performances always leave you with a smile on your face and this one is a classic straight out of the top draw. In these days of indulgent CGI, sex and mindless violence, its refreshing to be able to sit back and watch acting by people who didn't do it just for the money.
