It smells generic, whereas the original has a very distinct powdery smell. It applies like Aquafor, it needs a lot of product to feel hydrating, whereas the original Cicaplast Baume B5+ needs very little to feel hydrating. Also the product I purchased doesn't leave a white residue like the original.
