    Hot Rockin' SACD

    I have been hearing these songs throughout my life and played them on radio from various formats and sources over the years and this is without doubt the best these Stones' classics have ever sounded. Don't expect a booming bottom end because these 60's and 70's recordings never had it in the first place. Clarity and greater presence abounds though. Even the distorted bits are clearer (if that makes sense?). Sitting down and actually listening to these SACDs really made me feel as if I was hearing them for the first time.

    The Rolling Stones - Hotter Rocks

    I have the original - so comparison is easy - its better - worth having - but not the greatest SACD - the Stereo sound is cleaner and more detailed -the tracks are all belters so buy it and sell your old version on Ebay. In 5.1 there are the usual bits that come out of the rear speakers when you least expect them. A certificate inside the case wil tell you that its the 1st SACD from the record company. They get better! But enjoy classic Stones in better Stereo -

    This truly Rocks.

    Here is probably the finest collection of the Rolling Stones earlier work for all to behold. Stick this on your cd player and be very impressed. Be lucky enough to obtain the SACD version and you can enter rock'n'roll heaven.

    Bump's choice!

    Bought this cd cause I am pregnant and when I played this in my mum's house the baby started kicking... it reacts to all good guitar music. This is an excellent CD with a good spectrum of the 'stones commercial work. You will more than likely know every track on this CD... Good choice by bump!

    Pure joy!

    The playing on this album is more bebop than cool, but is instantly enjoyable. There are lots of alternative takes which are insightful and interesting.
