I would recommend anyone interested in seeing this movie rent it first! The documentary of this serial killer/rapist is not worth buying. The only gruesome scenes in this movie are when the Gary Ridway actor is dreaming of being on an autopsy table in which movie directors are showing actual footage of a dead man being gutted. Even those scenes are not very clear because the camera flashes back and forth too fast and are hazy looking, from the guy dreaming to the dead man on the autopsy table. These scenes are very very disturbing and gruesome. You only see a few pics of a dead woman on the autopsy table which I think were not worth putting in the movie no more than what was shown. As far as the killings went, he used the same manner in which he killed the prostitutes as there are no scenes to make you go "oh my goodness!" He simply strangled most of them using the straps attached to his pants. Then he pops a cigarette in their mouth, puts them in the front seat of his ride and dump the body at the Green River. Even though the movie includes actual interview footage with the real Gary Ridgway it's nothing special, just him calmly talking about his killings. This movie was totally disappointing and is not worth buying. The only thing I got out of this movie was that the justice system is totally screwed up as this man got life in prison in exchange for information about his killings. What kind of message is the justice system sending to other murderers out there???? "ok, if you tell us your story, we will spare your life" Where the heck is the justice for the families of the victims?Read full review
Gary Ridgway, one of the most notorious serial killers in U.S. history, was arrested in 2001 for the murder of 48 women he killed between 1981 and 2001. In exchange for his life, Ridgway pled guilty to all killings and gave the District Attorney a detailed description of his deadly rampage. His routine was simple - pick up the women, always prostitutes, take them either home or to secret hideaways, murder them and leave their bodies at the Green River near Seattle, Washington. Maintaining the appearance of a normal life throughout his killing spree, Ridgway never thought his actions would come back and capture him. Now, prepare to enter the mind of a killer... After watching this it wasn't so bad....the actor who portrayed ridgeway looked alot like him..Scarrry...but for the price of 1 cent can't be bad.... (Mrs. puman)Read full review
Good information about Gary Ridgeway and his killing of innocent women and girls. For those interested in criminal studies. I researched serial crimes for my Masters degree in Criminal Justice.

Scary but good and intense. I wish it had been more on his life and jobs and after he was caught. It was mostly his early on days.

This is a DOG!! If you are looking for a factual account, this isn't it. Firstly, the bar owner/madam watches seven of her "girls" leave with him ( never to be seen alive again) but it doesn't dawn on her to call the cops?? Apparently the other girls didn't make the connection either--They still went with him. The only parts worth seeing were the clips of Ridgeway's confession and they were laced through the film so you had to watch the whole thing to see them. This is the second worst movie I have ever seen, you can check out my reviews if you want to know the winner of the worst.
Good B movie... don't expect any thing great. Entertaining at best. The movie is slow with a lot of not so important sex scenes that do not contribute to the plot or add any substance to it. The timming is also slow and the editing lacks imagination or any impact. The lead character is not so believable. The interviews are not well dialogged or realistic.
Slow. Full of weird and awkward scenes that seemed poor like porn than an actual movie.

The direction, acting and filming style of this movie are awful. The characters aren't believable and it is just a waste of time.

I made the mistake of reading Ann Rule's book first, which was great. So I had to see the movie. I watched maybe 10 minutes then put it in the Goodwill bag. Terrible beginning, I wouldn't waste my time watching the rest.
