Excellent Kettle
Bought this kettle to replace old one. Was looking for a while but could not find anything that looked good and was also good quality. As soon as I saw this one I absolutely fell in love with it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: *Looks amazing - very stylish, *boils quickly, *not noiseless but very quiet, *no excessive steam emitted so no more nasty burns *concealed heating element for easy cleaning *soft open lid *has one cup boil function *in addition to having variable temperature control. It is more expensive than other kettles but definitely worth the money. I would 110% recommend this product. I have done a lot of research and I found this particular kettle to be the best one up to this price range out there. All my guests always have something positive to say about the ... Problem with lid hinge - keeps breaking.
Product looks great with nice features but I believe there is a flaw with the lid hinge. The first one failed in 18 months and the lid just slops about not opening or closing correctly so it was replaced by BOSCH. The second has just failed in less than a year in exactly the same way. BOSCH now refuse to do anything and were no help at all as the total life of the 2 kettles is more than their 2 year warranty. There are only 2 of us in the house so the kettle gets used less than 3 times a day, not what I'd call excessive use. So a £90 kettle which lasts anything from 10 to 18 months, not value for money, will be sticking with cheaper less fancy brands for the replacement.Product looks great with nice features but I believe there is a flaw with the lid hinge. Fancy a Cuppa???
Then this is the kettle you have been waiting for. This is my second Bosch kettle and it's very easy to use with its sliding temperature scale, where you get to choose the temperature. Bosch is usually a brand you can both trust and rely on. My only unexpected gripe this time is the price. I feel it is a bit too expensive, so I hope it lasts long enough to justify that price.

Best Kettle we have ever owned
Chose this kettle as it featured in lots of UK Best Kettle reviews. Not disappointed. Ergonomically and aesthetically it’s superb. Stylish and functional. Best feature is the option to select the temperature of the water. This means the water is never too hot for fruit infusions or green teas. Pours well too. Cannot fault and highly impressed
