Great phone, much clearer than an older analogue phone plugged into Hub. My only gripe is it is a little awkward to fit back in the base. The Alexa feature is useful but not essential.

If you have a reasonable signal strength from your hub then it seems a good product. Unfortunately BT don't design the Hub 2 to work with a range extender, so if you have a large house or thick walls then these phones may not be able to reach the hub. Don't be fooled by references to it being digital and using voip - the phone does not use your WiFi, it uses DECT to connect to the hub just as portable landlines have for years.

no problem with the phone but if you are reliant on a landline then don't buy this new digital voice phone as it will not work in a power cut. If you are in a non spot for mobile you will have problems calling the emergency services without a back up battery which BT promised to supply froo of charge but now won't after all the media coverage about the problem. I am trying to get a BBU as we have no mobile signal. Added Alexa on it means you can call hand free but takes ages to download all your contacts.

I changed over to these BT Alexa phones after receiving one from BT. They are really nice phones, very easy to set up, and the only thing I have against them is that they are so obviously designed by a man, as they are very tall yet very slim, they take a bit of getting used to handling, being as they really are "long, tall Sally's".....!!!!! If you are thinking of changing to HD phones, then these, with or without Alexa, are an excellent choice!!
