I bought this product for its Wireless N technology to replace a Wireless G router that was also from Linksys. The Wireless G technology was not able to handle extended videos such as instructional courses. The Wireless N is working OK. Initially I had a repeated problem with loss of the Internet connection on one of our computers. I downloaded the manual and tried to access the configuration web page for the product but it asked for a password and the default did not seem to work. One of the best things about Linksys products is Linksys Online Chat. They have always been very polite and usually help me to answer all problems. The one exception was when I asked if I should upgrade the router when I upgraded my modem to Docsys 3.0 because my ISP required it. They said the router would probably still work. Technically, that was correct, as I did not completely lose communication. However, it was not the whole story, as the improved modem apparently let through more data which the Wireless G router could not handle. Once I had a problem, I chatted with a different agent who helped me determine what kind of new router I needed and confirmed that the E900 was probably a good buy. I got help from an agent with configuring the router and now it appears to be trouble-free.Read full review
This router is very user friendly & allows for parental controls which I love. You also can add guests & it came at such a great price. Definitely worth buying.

The price was excellent, the setup was incredibly easy (it came with an installation CD-ROM, which I don't have, but the installation program was easily downloaded from Linksys) and it has good enough reach for my house.

I bought this router to replace my existing four year old TRENDnet TEW-652BRP that was beginning to act erratic and occasionally lose connection. Although this was advertised as a 'Used' unit, other than a few bumps & bruises on the box, the unit and all originally supplied parts were in perfect condition. The router installation was effortless and the advanced configuration was extremely easy to perform as long as one followed the included directions. After installation and configuration, I found that my wireless connections throughout the house kept a faster and more constant connection. I must add than after reading the user manual, I was enticed to use the TRENDnet as a Wireless Access Point on my network. Now, I'm experiencing an even better wireless connection throughout the entire house.Read full review
working really good.working really good. The router works well, is a cinch to set up and get connected. I really can't stress the ease of use for this router enough. Anyway it performs on par to routers that cost around 100-150 bucks so this is good bang for your buck. The only thing i missed was that it only allows you to throttle upload speeds to your different clients not upload and download. No big deal though. Great buy.
