I decided to try this antenna to improve the reception at my house. I had two other brands of what seem to be similar antennas. This one blew them away. Highest channel count previously was about 80, with this one it's 110.

The main problem with this antenna, is that it DOES NOT USE a STANDARD COAX type connector for the cable that comes down from the antenna. The connector that is on the cable, which plugs into the control box, is a BNC type of connector, which means that you are limited in how far you can place the control box from the antenna (the cable is 8 meters or 26 feet long.) Obviously, if you mounting this antenna to your roof, the included cable might not be long enough (and the cable IS NOT replaceable it is hard-wired attached to the antenna module.) Most of the antennas that I have seen (and sold in the US) use a standard coax cable connection, which then allows for virtually any length of cable needed to come down to the control box. This antenna might be ok for someone who is using it close to, or in the same room as, the control box and TV. But if you are planning on mounting this on your roof, ... well "Forgetta' Bout It"!! Cheap and light weight, that's good, horizontal bars fell off as it was being assembled, plastic clips weak, maybe, all pieces had to be assembled, like a bag of tinker toys,, got it assembled and the first day was great 71 channels...the second day the rotor would not turn,, the third day the stations would start dropping out..then the rotor started working again but only get 3 stations.. Have a different antenna on order. not easy to assemble .

it was cheap and you get what you pay for still I guess, it came pre broken and was difficult but not very to assemble more because it was so weakly constructed then hard to figure out. I don't know how well it works but I don't expect much and I can't use it until I fabricate a new base to replace the broken as shipped one. I can tell though it wouldn't last at all in any kind of bad weather so if you chance getting one plan on indoor use only. I would have returned it but it was so cheap it wasn't worth the time that would take. It really does have an amp and rotor and the rotor works so I know the power supply is good but I haven't got it into a signal yet to see if the amp does anything but 200 miles has to be a streach. I have a high gain 92 element one of much greater size and can't get reliable 65 mile range on a 30 foot mast and it is a top rated antenna so this may be good for an attic in townRead full review

I live in the west part of my city on a hill and could only get our local channel. I put the new antenna on a tower well above the tree line and it shouldn't have any problems picking up the many tv stations available with it's 900 mile antenna range as described, most stations near me are 25 to 75 miles. I wanted a backup antenna incase of storms when satellite TV goes out. But still I only get the local channel Also it's hard to add extra cable because the cable ends are not standard if you need the extra height .

Made from very thin tubing and my second one was bent and missing some parts. It also doesn't rotate. My first purchase of this antenna worked good although it was also missing a piece and easily damaged so probably wouldn't hold up to the weather if installed outdoors. The price is pretty cheap and it can work if you luck into getting all the pieces and they all work. The second one I bought didn't pick up any channels good enough to watch. I wouldn't recommend buying this due to the apparent lack of quality control but you might get lucky and get a good one.

It greatly improves reception. My antenna is in my attic, and it still works great. The rotating feature is very helpful. Worth more than every penny ! 100% happy. I do unplug it when not in use because the control box gets a little warm. That's the only concern that I have with this excellent antenna.

works reasonably well. it has a short cable(25 ft) from the antenna to the control box with an oddball connector so you can't extend it. you can extend the cable from the box to the TV but that means you cant use the remote to rotate the antenna by the TV set.

Must be assembled and is made primarily of plastic and weighs only a few ounces when assembled. How it will hold up in WI winters is yet to be seen. However, we are getting a few local channels, so it is working. It just feels like nothing in your hands and I worry about it lasting and functioning well.

Assembly instructions would have been nice but it's not too difficult to figure out assembly, and yes you get what you pay for - cheap construction, but it does work, I'd be surprised if it lasts the winter. The "claimed" 990 mile range is grossly exorbitant, broadcast towers within 50 miles were received very well, towers over 50 miles but within 75 miles were not received at all.
