I have added this to my ever growing pile of Michael Mosley books but have not yet got round to reading it. My only concern is that it has very few menus in it and it means buying other 800 or 5:2 menu books. The concept of the 800 calorie diets is good and I have been able to reduce my HbA1c test results significantly over the last year. I intend to keep at it.

One of the best books ever written on diets!! It is, for a pleasant change, actually doable, especially combined with 5:2 eating. People feel deprived if they "can't eat " certain foods for the foreseeable future BUT with this you are only restricted for 2 days per week. It is such an eyeopener when you actually start to count calories (which I have never done before!) and it makes you super aware of what you are eating on a non calorie reduced (fasting) day. Basically, it gradually trains you to want healthier foods, it's totally amazing, hence it's fantastic success.
